The Main Entrance Project of C&D·Upper Courtyard is led by the C&D Properties Design Team for its New Chinese style positioning, with the ODE Design Team responsible for the design. Leveraging our years of integrated design and construction capabilities in the decoration field, as well as our profound heritage and expressive strength rooted in Eastern culture, we undertook the detailed design and implementation of the entrance gates in this area. Taking the “gate-hall system” of traditional Chinese courtyard houses as the blueprint, we reconstructed core components such as the main gate and overhanging eaves using modern metal materials, integrated traditional Chinese decorative patterns, and presented the canal culture-themed scene via forged copper reliefs. Through the interplay of solid and hollow metal components and layered lighting, we preserved the ritual charm of traditional architecture while endowing the space with an elegant vibe favored by contemporary tastes.
