Chi Wing Lo is an internationally renowned Chinese architect and designer, active across architecture, furniture, sculpture and art installation fields. He graduated from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design with the Best Thesis Award and once served as the artistic director of Italian brand GIORGETTI. He won the title of World Outstanding Chinese Designer, with his work Tower House nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award, and his furniture design winning the Gold Award at the Italian A’ Design Award. His representative works include the renovation project of The Regent Hong Kong and the Chinese zodiac sculpture Xiang Yang (Sheep Auspiciousness), which is made of copper oxide and brass and reconstructs traditional zodiac culture through minimalist geometry. His works are permanently collected by institutions such as the Triennale di Milano and the Centre Pompidou, exhibited worldwide, and have exerted a profound influence on the contemporary design and art circles.
