“Rebirth · Carp” belongs to artist Gao Xiaowu’s iconic “Rebirth” series and is one of the long-term collaborative works between ODE and the artist. Using mirror-polished stainless steel with iridescent titanium plating, the sculpture expresses the artistic concept of breaking boundaries and cyclical rebirth through flowing forms and vibrant metallic reflections.

With years of expertise in metal sculpture fabrication, the ODE team completed the stainless steel casting, hand-forged shaping, mirror finishing, and titanium coating processes while faithfully preserving the artist’s creative language. The changing light across the surface gives the work a strong sense of depth and vitality.
