9 to 5 | Design: CAPA | Fabrication & Installation: ODE

Located at Dawanglu Station on Beijing Metro Line 14, 9 to 5 uses a blue-and-white palette, geometric compositions, and silhouette-style figures to portray the daily rhythm of urban life—from office work and commuting to leisure and social moments. The mural reflects both the fast pace and the human warmth of Beijing’s CBD district.

To faithfully realize the designer’s vision, the ODE team used paint spray guns as their creative tool, hand-spraying the artwork layer by layer while carefully refining colors, figure outlines, and overall visual balance. This meticulous process ensured that the original design concept was accurately translated into the public space.

The completed mural integrates seamlessly into the metro environment, capturing the essence of everyday city life while bringing a sense of warmth and connection to the daily commute.
