Yinfeng Lake Park in Luozhuang, Linyi stands as a benchmark for the revitalization of industrial heritage and the translation of regional cultural context. This 26-meter-tall metal art installation integrates the time-honored charm of the prehistoric black pottery stem cup with eggshell thin walls and the vivid grace of Yizhou crabapple flowers. Boasting a unique dual form by day and night, it has become the visual core that energizes the urban space.

As the producer of this project, we participated in the entire construction process in depth. We not only led the parametric secondary design modeling and the construction of digital systems, but also undertook the processing and installation of metal components. During the creation, we disassembled the special-shaped curved surfaces through Rhino parametric modeling to ensure the precise implementation of the design. Sandblasted aluminum panels were used to mimic the gentle and smooth texture of ceramics; color-plated stainless steel perforated panels achieved a purple-to-blue gradient through laser precision cutting and vacuum ion plating. LED dot matrices were accurately aligned with the perforations to create stunning light and shadow effects, and the segmented hoisting technology guaranteed the stability of installation. All these efforts have perfectly transformed the artistic vision into a tangible urban landmark.
