Pop Star

Pop Star

The design of Pop Star originates from the artist’s exploration of a “transcendental visual system,” aiming to challenge the boundaries of human perception. Based on the geometric form of a regular icosahedron, the work constructs a gigantic installation beyond the normal human visual scale through spatial deconstruction and formal reconstruction, as if an “extraterrestrial object” descending from another dimension of time and space.

It is composed of stained glass and a metal frame. When sunlight passes through the colorful glass panels, it casts brilliant and ever-changing light and shadows on the ground and surrounding space. Viewers can climb the internal staircase to the center of the installation, overlook the fields from a unique perspective, and experience an entirely new spatial relationship.

This work is not only a reflection on the limitations of human vision but also an encouragement to view the world with a more open and imaginative attitude. It integrates natural light, geometric aesthetics, and public spatial experience, allowing viewers to re-perceive the relationship between nature and the self through interaction with the artwork.
