Zhong Song is an artist and designer, and founder of Beijing Zhongsong Design Office. His practice focuses on sculpture, public art and spatial design, interpreting traditional aesthetics through a Chinese minimalist language. His representative works include Oriental Light – Sundial in Pudong, Shanghai and Pillar of Justice at Shanghai National Accounting Institute. In 2014, he won the “New Designer of the Year” at the EDIDA International Design Awards, and his “Wanwu (All Things)” series received the Golden Pin Design Award Jury Special Award and Accessory Design Award. In 2023, his designed ET Floor Lamp was awarded the Golden Kirin Award for Artistic Furnishings Gold Award. In 2025, he presented his “Tianwu High-end Customization” series at Modern Shanghai Design Week and held the special exhibition Boundless Realm. In addition, he has also received honors including the Gold Award for Sculpture in the Top Ten Quality Projects of Pudong Development and Opening-up, the Shanghai Municipal Engineering Gold Award, and the Jury Special Award at the “Art and Science” International Art Exhibition of the National Art Museum of China.
